Also known as bok choi or Chinese cabbage, it features dark green leaves and succulent white stalks. Pakchoi thrives in a position that receives partial shade to full sun, making it adaptable to different growing conditions. It prefers well-drained soil that is fertile and rich in organic matter.

When it comes to spacing, it is recommended to plant Pakchoi approximately 20 to 30 centimetres apart, allowing sufficient room for the plants to grow and develop. The first harvest of Pakchoi leaves can typically be done around 30 to 40 days after planting, depending on the desired size and maturity. To ensure a continuous supply, successive plantings every few weeks are recommended. When planning the quantity to plant, aiming for around 4 to 6 Pakchoi plants per square meter is advisable.

Also known as Chinese cabbage or Napa cabbage, it features elongated, pale green leaves that form a tight head. Wombok Cabbage is a cool-season annual that thrives in a position that receives full sun to partial shade. It prefers well-drained soil that is fertile, rich in organic matter, and slightly acidic. When it comes to spacing, it is recommended to plant the seedlings approximately 30 to 45 centimetres apart, allowing sufficient room for the heads to develop fully.

The first harvest of Wombok Cabbage can typically be done around 60 to 80 days after planting, depending on the desired head size. To ensure a continuous supply, successive plantings every few weeks are recommended. When considering the quantity to plant, it is advisable to aim for around 2 to 3 Wombok Cabbage plants per square meter. With its tender, crisp texture and mild, slightly sweet flavour, Wombok Cabbage is a versatile vegetable that can be used in stir-fries, soups, kimchi, and other dishes
